Winter madness
price reduction

November 29, 2011

When you’re facing the dramatic December weather, there can be no better companion than the Arholma – our 100% wind- and waterproof classic Swedish raincoat. And maybe it’s the fact that it’s winter now that made us go completely mad and reduce the prices for a limited period of time.

So go ahead and make someone you care about happy for Christmas, or even better, treat yourself to a nice Christmas gift for only 2 795 SEK (305€, 415$, 261£, 31 770¥ etc). Hurry up before we change our minds.

The brand new Arholma Grön

November 28, 2011

British Racing Green, Forest Green, Weed Green… there are many names for the magical third colour of Arholma that we are launching now. After having rejected several different shades (and almost gone nuts in the process) we finally decided to go with this one.

Together with off-white lining in the very best cotton and straps in the same quality and colour, this is THE coat to hide both body and soul when out in a forest. Or just to really stand out amongst shadowy looking people in the city. We welcome Arholma Grön. We love that you finally have arrived. But as with life: the anticipation was almost as good.

Arholma Grön also marks the beginning of our updated Arholma model (1.1) which includes one extra inside pocket, fine lining inside the outer pockets and a slightly different cut (barely noticeable) for a better fit. Otherwise it´s the same classic Swedish raincoat as before, and our aim is to keep it that way. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Just add a few colours. And melancholy.

To Norway
with love

November 27, 2011

If this year has been the beginning of a beautiful friendship, next year will be even better. Starting now, we have a special webshop arrangement for easier shopping and delivery just for you. Forget about expensive shipping, tax and customs paperwork and complicated return procedures. We give you fast and safe deliveries from a Norwegian logistics company, reliable prices including Norwegian tax and problem free returns. It’s almost as if we had moved to Norway (you know that we want to, but we still have to maintain family and friends in Stockholm). And when we’re at it, we thought we might as well cut the price too.

Let it rain.

Welcome to
our new site

It took us almost a year to complete, but at last we are proud to present you with our new site. What started out as a personal project has gradually, organically slipped into a bigger suit, but the spirit and the anxiety, the heart-driven work and the obsession with the melancholic joy of rain will always stay the same. This is an ever changing, progressing and expanding dream. It pushes forward, prodded by the Swedish melancholy that we love to hate, which runs in our veins and makes us do all sorts of neurotic stuff. Our new site reflects this. Drop by every now and then and get the big picture.

If you want to experience our daily mood swings we highly recommend our Facebook page. That’s where inspiration and ideas can turn into new products (or something completely different), where we share a song that we are obsessed with for the moment or a beautiful poem that moves us deeply. Sometimes we ask for your guidance and sometimes we just want to share our mood with you. High and low, everything has a place on our page. Everyday. Check it out and like it.
